We encourage attendees to:

  • Set up an account on the usajobs.gov website and create job notifications so you are aware of the most recent career opportunities available.
  • Set up saved searches for careers of interest to you.
  • We encourage you to register for the main webinar and sign up for any of the breakout sessions that interest you.

Overview

Representatives from USDA’s ERS and NIFA agencies will be conducting various information sessions throughout the week of April 27th regarding the following topics:

  • Various types of career opportunities available at ERS and NIFA
  • Benefits of working for the federal government
  • Special programs available for college students and/or recent grads
  • How to apply for a Senior Executive Service position
  • How to navigate the Federal job application process on www.usajobs.gov
  • Information about specific positions that are available at NIFA and ERS now or will soon be available

Register for the Main Webinar on April 28th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm CDT

The main session will provide: information on what ERS and NIFA do and the types of jobs available, and a session with Human Resources to discuss the types of jobs, how to apply in USAJobs (set up a profile, a search, etc.).
